From the moment you start working with Custom Playhouses you know it is going to be a fun process. I have two boys that share a bedroom and I wanted a cool bed/play place for them. I saw the surf shack online and called to ask about it.Immediately Lynda and I started scheming. I came up with some ideas she came up with more. Never once did I hear, "We can't do that." When it comes time to install the beds, Marvin and Lynda come out to California. I couldn't believe the customer service.I also couldn't believe the beds. Every detail is amazing: door bell, fiber optic stars, "Coconut phone," secret room, shutters, 3-D lizards!And the quality is beyond compare. It is the sturdiest piece of furniture in our house. I climb up to lie with my boys each night and I can't get over how safe and cozy it feels.They are having so much fun. The surf shacks have been houses, stores, restaurants and toy shops. Even the dogs like going in to hang out.I am so happy I was able to do this for my boys and I am thrilled I was able to work with The Staff at Custom Playhouses

It seemed that mom and dad were just as if not more excited about the Surf Shacks for their boy's Harrison and Calvin. Mom and dad could not stay out. They both explored the beds from the top to the bottom ringing the door bells, turning on and off the interior lights, gazing at the fiber optic stars trying to find the constellations hidden in the sky to climbing the ladders and sitting up top thinking about taking a quick nap before the boy's came home from school.
As we state on our website "Just dream it and leave the building to us!" These twin Surf Shacks are sold individually or as a pair. What makes each of these Surf Shack's different from Aiden's Surf Shack is at mom's request we add front entry Dutch doors with speak easy windows along with fold away shutters on each window. Our design team came up with some great ideas for this years Surf Shack. New ideas include secret room adjoining the two shacks together with separate secret entrance to each room. Each play area has a Coconut phone for communicating when each child is in his own play space. How much fun is that! This mom chose the wood trim on the exterior but each client has their choice of either wood or bamboo trim. Harrison and Calvin's Surf Shacks included safety ladders on each side for gaining entrance to the top loft sleeping area. On top of the secret room area serves as separate quiet reading or hiding place. We include a safety ladder with each of our beds unless you choose the option of adding a set of stairs. Each shack has a separate outside doorbell. The interior included fiber optic stars and recessed lighting in the ceiling with separate switches for each set of lights. The secret room also has recess lighting. Harrison and Calvin's favorite part of all was the Coconut phones located in each of their play areas. Optional Interior Art Specialty painted included chalk boards with chalk shelf and white wash faux finish and a surfers sky. These two brothers do not want to be separated they're the happiest when playing and sharing a room together. Harrison and Calvin could not wait to see their new play beds. From the moment they entered the room all the way to bedtime that evening they were playing and creating in their new custom theme play beds.
