Skyler's Castle

This California built castle design measures 10' W x 9 1/2'D x 14' high. Can you imagine your little one in this English 18th Century castle complete with drawbridge and moat! The exterior of this playhouse is finished with stucco panels and cedar trim. The windows are functional with Plexiglas and screens. The upper turret allows for views as far as the eye can see. There is a Dutch speakeasy door so that the King and Queen can be sure that only the prince or princess are let inside. There are so many options to this castle that are not seen from the outside. The interior was unfinished at the request of the owners but can be finished with an English 18th Century flair. There is a loft that leads to the upper turret that contains a trapdoor so little ones can hide and watch over their castle grounds. There is also enough room in the 5' high turret for children to stand up! The turret will sleep 2-3 children comfortably and safely. It is completely enclosed from the elements. In the main part of the castle there is a stone fireplace...but that is not all! It looks as though it is there for decoration, but if you look very closely you will find a secret passage door! This door is used for emergency escapes if intruders break in unexpectedly! When the secret passage door is closed, you cannot even see that it is there. The castle also has electricity and a doorbell that really works! The drawbridge is functional and can be easily pulled up to protect the castle. It also makes access to the castle easier since the castle is surrounded by a moat with electronic crocodiles! Yikes! Your little one will have hours and hours of fun in Skyler's Castle.
