Craftsman style Bungalow located in Orange County CA. Were
else would you find such a fine design of the Craftsman
style bungalow? Craftsmanship and quality was most
important for these owners. The owners wanted a replica
but also wanted to change a few amenities to make this
playhome unique for they're girls. The exterior architecture
consists of simulated slate roof with copper ridge, stone
chimney, Hardy Board siding and gable ends. Five operational
windows with grids and screens. A custom bay window.
Classic Craftsman Dutch entry door with antique oil rubbed
bronze acorn door knocker door handle and mail slot. The rafter tails
and porch ridge beam are also important factors in replicating
a Classic Craftsman
style. The porch has stone pillars, slate floor, entry
brass light fixture. Exterior colors are from the classic
collection. Replications on the exterior consist of the
slate roof, rafter tails, windows, window trim, entry
door, porch pillars, porch ridge beam, slate porch
and light fixture. The interior of this classic Craftsman
style playhome is all craftsmanship, quality, detail
and luxury. The interior is fully insulated for keeping
the inside cooled in warm climates and warm in cold
climates. Notice all the classic white wood waines coating
on the walls and classic white hand crafted trim around
all the windows, floor, and door. The owner's chose a
mahogany hard wood floor. Instead of two rooms in this playhome the owner chose a 3' foot wall
with a pass through arched window trimmed in the classic
craftsman millwork. This window is quite popular with the
little ones and used most commonly to serve up the main
dish or to play fast food. The arched window serves as a
puppet show stage or ticket counter. Make believe and
imagination is endless with a Custom Playhouse. The bay
window has a beautiful hand crafted window seat with
custom covered cushions and
storage
compartments to stow away all treasures. Above the entry
door is a large storage area with 2 matching doors. All
the millwork is milled in our studio and applied by our
master craftsman. Endless tea parties are a must with
Gwen and Claire on the custom designed oak round
pedestal table stained in a mahogany stain to match the
mahogany hardwood floors. This table will serve a space
for arts and crafts as well. In May these little girls
will be making mayday baskets and delivering them around
the neighborhood. How fun! Notice the detail on all
the millwork,
trim, cabinetry, flooring. No other playhouse builder puts

table and mahogany floors. The dress up mirror was mom's
idea and we replicated this mirror from a mirror in the
main house. One thing
that our clients enjoy is decorating the playhomes for the
holiday season. Including the electrical package in the
finishing of the playhouses allows for holiday lights.
Interior Christmas decor makes this playhome a place to
celebrate the season. A landscape architect was chosen to
design the finish landscaping around this luxury playhome
to complete this clients beautiful backyard
