This new addition to our Cottage designs was built for a customer in New Mexico
This Custom Cottage Playhouse measures 12'W x 8'D x 10' 6" high. The exterior of Audrey's Cottage was painted with three custom colors chosen by the owners. They decided on a fairytale theme using blues, pinks and creams. What child wouldn't love to come home to this for a birthday gift? The exterior is finished with stucco siding, cedar shutters, flowerboxes, trim and shakes. To give the Custom Playhouse a cottage feel, the corners are accented in Bluff stone with a matching rooftop chimney. There is also a cute Custom eyebrow window specifically made for this design that can be used to look out of the loft area. Imagine your child having real electricity including a functional doorbell for their visitors to ring when they arrive! The Custom windows have Plexiglas for safety and screens. They are completely functional in order to let in fresh air on those hot summer days.
Audrey's Cottage is finished in shades of pink on the interior including wallpaper and Custom Cottage style chair rail. The customers completely furnished their cottage with a sofa and bluff stone fireplace for the living room and stove/sink combo, refrigerator and table and chair set in the kitchen area. All of these pieces can be seen on our furniture page.
There are many unique features to this Custom Playhouse. But Audrey's Cottage is the first Custom Playhouse to be built with two rooms! The interior is definitely something to see with a living room and separate kitchen area.
The loft area is great for your little one to sleep and play in. There is a custom ladder that allows access to the loft. It can sleep two to three children comfortably. There is a loft window and the eyebrow window can be used to look over the front yard.
Last, but certainly not least. What child wouldn't love to landscape around their new home and plant flowers in their cedar flowerboxes seen here.
